Making
a Claim

We offer insurance solutions through several different channels. We process claims internally in our Sweden office and there are some cases where the claims could be handled by a third party. Details on how to best file a claim can be found in your policy documents, the Terms & Conditions or by contacting the distributor of the policy.

Before making a claim it’s best to have all the information and supporting on hand to smoothen the process. But don’t worry if you don’t, you can still get the claim process started. Your claims handler will give you all the support you need to help make it all as simple as possible.

Our claims team, both internally and third party, supports you through the claims process.

Claims Handled Internally

Our claims handlers at AmTrust Insurance Services Sweden have several years of experience and will help you during your claims journey.

Clear communication is a cornerstone of what we do and aim for in every case. We will keep you informed about the claims process, with the goal of sorting your claim as soon as possible.

Skadeforsikring and Plussforsikring

Complaints

Our goal is to have satisfied customers, but sometimes, it happens that a customer has a different opinion than we do. If we do not deliver to high standards of service, or if we make a mistake, we want to know. We will investigate your complaint and try to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

First, contact the claims handler who handled your case. A conversation can provide additional information and solve any misunderstandings. Making a complaint is free of charge and we will deal with any complaints with due care.

If you still do not agree with the claim’s decision, you have the option to proceed to AmTrust’s appeals board which can look at your case again.

The complaint will be responded to as soon as possible and if we cannot respond to a complaint within 14 days of it being received, we will contact you and explain the reason for the delay and inform you when a response can be expected.

Should you still remain dissatisfied with AISS final response, you can take your case to the Swedish general court to settle the dispute. As a consumer, you can also submit the dispute to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN).
